2,500 students set to graduate from Victoria University on Tuesday

KAMPALA. Victoria University -Uganda is set to churn out 2,500 students to join the job market.

The 9th graduation ceremony will take place at Speke Resort Convention Centre, Munyonyo on Tuesday, October 28.

The much-anticipated event will see over 2,500 graduands receive degrees, diplomas, and certificates in various disciplines, celebrating their resilience and academic excellence as they transition into professional careers.

In a statement issued on its social media platforms, the university expressed excitement about the event, noting that it will celebrate the fruits of dedication and scholarly pursuit. “Victoria University is delighted to announce that our 9th Graduation Ceremony will be held on October 28 at the prestigious Speke Resort Convention Centre, Munyonyo,” the statement read.

Dr Harriet Mimi Uwineza, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Chairperson of the Graduation Publicity Committee, said the day will recognise the “hard work, dedication, and success” of all graduands. “Please join us as we honour excellence and create memories that last a lifetime,” she said.

Founded in 2013, Victoria University has grown into one of Uganda’s leading private institutions, offering programs in business, engineering, humanities, law, education, and health sciences. The upcoming ceremony is a reflection of its steady rise as a center of innovation and practical learning.
