New Visit Visa Categories Introduced:
- AI Specialist Visa: Targeted at professionals in artificial intelligence, this visa is issued upon sponsorship by a registered tech company.
- Entertainment Visa: Granted to individuals visiting the UAE for leisure or temporary entertainment activities.
- Event Visa: Designed for participants in conferences, exhibitions, festivals, and similar events across sectors.
- Cruise Tourism Visa: A multiple-entry visa available to cruise passengers with pre-approved travel itineraries and authorized hosts.
Expanded Residency Options:
- Humanitarian Residency: One-year renewable permit for individuals fleeing conflict, disasters, or instability in their home countries.
- Residency for Widows and Divorcees: Foreign nationals who are recently widowed or divorced can now apply for residency within six months of the event, subject to meeting specified criteria.
- Visit Visa for Family and Friends: UAE residents can now sponsor friends and relatives up to the third degree, based on income requirements.
Business and Labour-Related Visas:
- Business Exploration Visa: Intended for entrepreneurs and investors, this visa requires proof of overseas business ownership or financial stability.
- Truck Driver Visa: Permits for lorry drivers employed by certified transport companies, contingent upon insurance coverage and financial guarantees.
