Bishop Kibuuka Calls for Calm and Peaceful Elections in Christmas Homily

In his Christmas homily the presiding Bishop for Antiochian Orthodox Catholic Church Jacinto Kibuuka called for urged the public and security forces to keep calm in order to have peaceful elections.

He reminded the country that there is life beyond elections but also to know that above us there is God who sent us the prince of peace Jesus Christ who we celebrate today on Christmas thus we should make peace a priority espexially amidst this tough elections period.

He made the remarks at mamre international prayer centre, Namugongo, Janda where he celebrated Christmas.

He also urged the public to join them at mamre prayer centre on the 31st Dec for the cross overnight healing and deliverance prayers which will change their live for good and forever.

Among the congregation was Daniel Kananura who is NRM Party flag bearer for Kira Municipality MP who emphasized Bishop’s peace message but also urged them for vote for nrm for better service delivery and accomplishments on what has been started on by govt.
