Bobi Wine condemns vandalism of NUP offices in Gulu City

GULU. The National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine has condemned the overnight vandalism of party offices in Gulu City .

According to Bobi Wine, who is currently campaigning in Northern Uganda, said security operatives raided NUP offices and destroyed all materials including furniture and records.

“They also stole other items. According to onlookers, the military blocked off all roads leading to the office, while this criminality was going on. This is Uganda in 2025. The only solution lies in the Protest Vote 2026, lets put an end to this madness ” he posted on his X on Thursday morning .

By press time the Police were yet to release a statement about the NUP office break-in incident. Bobi Wine, who is scheduled to campaign in Gulu City this Saturday has had a lukewarm relationship with security agencies since he kicked off his campaigns on September 29. Most members of his campaign team have been arrested, many party supporters maimed in a crackdown police is aimed at barring them from carrying out processions which violate electoral guidelines.
