Busiro East Parliamentary elect Emmanuel Magola Matovu has threatened to sue Wakiso Presiding officers as individuals for participating in electoral rigging by interchanging winners’ declaration forms with intention of declaring wrong candidates.
Magola the Busiro East Mp elect was addressing NUP Direct and Indirect councillors in Busiro East whom he summoned at his residence at Janya in Wakiso District where he also thanked them for giving him support.
He says that the electoral commission Presiding officers have been of a great disappointment not to the people of Wakiso alone but country wide saying that unlike before where vote rigging was at the poling centre this time it has been rampant at tally centres where presiding officials have been declaring wrong declaration form results allocating winners to Nrm candidates. He has vowed to sue the electoral commission presiding officials for these deliberate actions.
He has also called upon the people of Busiro East to stay calm until he gets communication from the party over the way forward to reclaim their win.
Magoola has donated two ambulances, two funeral vehicles and several sets of address systems to the constituency.
