CFAO Mobility Expands Sinotruk Footprint with New Partner in West Nile

CFAO Mobility Uganda has officially appointed NN Group Uganda as the authorised sales and service partner for Sinotruk trucks in the West Nile region, a move set to bring world-class heavy-duty transport solutions closer to customers in north-western Uganda.

The partnership grants NN Group, located along the Pakwach Highway in Arua, exclusive rights to handle Sinotruk truck sales, repairs and genuine spare-part distribution in the region. It aims to improve access to quality after-sales support for transport operators and businesses whose operations rely heavily on durable and efficient trucks.

To mark the launch, CFAO Mobility Uganda organised a free vehicle diagnostic week at NN Group’s service facility, during which Sinotruk owners benefited from complimentary mechanical inspections, detailed vehicle-health reports and discounts on genuine spare parts.

Howard Wodomal, Equipment Manager at CFAO Mobility Uganda, said the collaboration demonstrates the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in regional markets. “We are proud to welcome NN Group as our official Sinotruk agent in West Nile. This partnership ensures that truck owners and transporters in the region can access reliable support and the right truck for every job,” he said.

Ismail Noor, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NN Group Uganda, described the partnership as a significant step in regional growth. “Launching Sinotruk sales and service in Arua is not only about business expansion, it is about empowering our community through job creation, better logistics support and faster access to quality products,” he said.

The partnership also introduces Sinotruk’s latest heavy-duty model, the HOWO Max, alongside the existing HOWO NX and TX series. The new model features a 430-horsepower engine, 16-speed automated manual transmission and advanced safety systems, ideal for long-haul, construction and mining operations.

The development is expected to reduce downtime for transporters operating between Uganda, South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, while supporting the region’s growing infrastructure and cross-border trade activity.
