Crown Prince of Dubai Meets UAE Space Industry Leaders to Advance National Space Capabilities

Dubai, UAE – June 12, 2025 –
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), has reaffirmed the UAE’s ambitious vision to become a global leader in the space sector during a recent meeting with representatives of space companies operating in the country.

The high-level meeting focused on exploring new avenues to strengthen public-private partnerships in the UAE’s growing space industry. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that collaboration between government entities and private sector innovators is crucial to driving progress in this strategically vital field.

“As part of our continuous efforts to develop the national space ecosystem, we discussed ways to expand the partnership between government and private stakeholders,” Sheikh Hamdan stated. “With the support of wise leadership, a people who do not believe in the impossible, and youth who are passionate about achievement, we are steadily moving toward advanced space capabilities.”

He further highlighted the UAE’s broader goal of not merely keeping pace with global advancements but actively shaping the future of the space sector.

“We are future makers and passionate pioneers. We aim for our nation to be an influential partner in global space initiatives for a better tomorrow,” he added.

The UAE has made significant strides in recent years, including launching the Emirates Mars Mission and preparing for future lunar and deep-space endeavors. This latest initiative reflects the country’s commitment to fostering innovation, scientific exploration, and international cooperation in space.
