His Eminence Sheikh Hafiz Muhammad Harunah Bukenya, the 2nd Deputy Mufti of Uganda, represented the Mufti of Uganda, His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubajje, as the Chief Guest at the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the Islamic Call University College (ICUC). The event took place at the university’s designated main campus in Kiyunga Village, Mukono District.
In his brief remarks, Sheikh Bukenya paid special tribute to the university’s administration for their unwavering commitment to the development of the institution. He emphasized the importance of ICUC fulfilling its full potential in promoting knowledge for future generations.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Juma Bakhit Cucu, UMSC Education Secretary, Residence District Commissioner – RDC, Muslim leaders from all UMSC structures led by Sheikh Sheikh Abbas Zubayir Ssenkuba the Khadi along with students from various schools who were accompanied by their teachers.
