KAMPALA, Uganda — dfcu Bank has entered a strategic partnership with global fintech firm Aurionpro to advance its digital banking infrastructure, particularly for corporate clients and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Through this collaboration, dfcu Bank will integrate Aurionpro’s advanced digital banking platform to improve transactional services. The system will enable multi-channel access, streamline both local and international payments, and enhance forex capabilities—delivering faster, more secure, and agile services to customers.
Charles M. Mudiwa, CEO of dfcu Bank, emphasized the importance of the move in the bank’s long-term innovation strategy.
“Our alliance with Aurionpro marks a significant milestone in reshaping the banking experience for our corporate and SME clients,” said Mudiwa. “We are building an ecosystem that supports secure, real-time financial services across various platforms.”
He noted that the upgrade is designed to empower businesses with the tools they need to grow, adapt, and contribute to Uganda’s broader economic development.
Aurionpro’s Executive Vice President and Head of APAC & MEA, Sandeep Chiber, expressed optimism about the partnership’s impact on the local financial landscape.
“Together with dfcu, we are not just adapting to digital transformation—we’re driving it,” Chiber said. “This initiative will set a new standard for customer experience and support a more inclusive and dynamic financial environment in Uganda.”
