Prominent social critic Frank Gashumba has shared joyful news — he and his wife, Patience Mutoni Malaika, have welcomed their first child together.
Speaking during an appearance on Radio 4 earlier today, Gashumba expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m happy to share that our child has arrived. Both Malaika and the baby are doing well.”
The couple’s journey reached a significant milestone earlier this year when Malaika officially introduced Gashumba to her family during a traditional ceremony held in Ssembabule District in May. Gashumba fulfilled all cultural obligations, including handing over UGX 6 million and 12 cows to Malaika’s family.
He also hinted that the couple is now preparing for what he called the “biggest” wedding yet.
