Access to financial services is set to improve for residents of Nansana, Masaka, and Soroti following the launch of three new Housing Finance Bank branches, underscoring the Bank’s commitment to bringing banking closer to communities across Uganda.
The expansion means that individuals and businesses in these areas will no longer have to endure long trips or queues to access essential services. Customers can now open savings and current accounts, apply for personal and business loans, secure mortgages, explore investment opportunities, and receive financial advisory services—all within their localities.
“Our expansion into Nansana, Masaka, and Soroti is about more than opening branches, it’s about opening doors of opportunity. These new touchpoints represent our promise to support Ugandans in owning, growing, and transforming their financial futures,” said Doreen Nyiramugisha, Head of Marketing and Communications at Housing Finance Bank.
Each new branch was deliberately placed to serve growing populations and commercial hubs: Nansana, upgraded from a service centre to a full branch, it brings closer financial solutions to the rapidly expanding residential and business community.
Masaka: As a busy commercial hub, the branch at Plot 94, Birch Avenue, Laston Hotel Building aims to strengthen support for traders and individuals alike, Soroti: Positioned at Plot 67, Gweri Road, Soroti Main Street, the branch will empower residents and entrepreneurs with tools to manage their finances and scale their enterprises.
In addition to physical banking, customers can take advantage of Housing Finance Bank’s digital platforms for seamless transactions, ensuring a blend of convenience and innovation.
This move reflects Housing Finance Bank’s mission to deliver efficient, customer-focused financial services that empower communities. By expanding into these regions, the Bank combines accessibility with innovation, helping Ugandans build sustainable financial futures while boosting local economic activity.
