Kampala, Uganda – MTN Uganda has named Alex Tusingwire as the second monthly winner of its MTN Proggie quiz platform, awarding him an all-expenses-paid trip to Sipi Falls, one of Uganda’s most stunning natural attractions.
The MTN Proggie platform, introduced last year, is a subscription-based quiz service that offers customers a fun and interactive way to test their knowledge while celebrating Uganda’s culture, history, and tourism. Participants can subscribe on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, with subscription fees ranging from 500 to 5,000 Ugandan shillings.
Engaging and Rewarding Customers
Subscribers earn points for every correct answer, and top scorers on the leaderboard qualify for exciting prizes. These include mobile money rewards, branded merchandise, gift hampers, concert tickets, and exclusive travel experiences to Uganda’s most breathtaking destinations.
MTN Uganda reported a growing interest in the platform, with enthusiastic participation from customers eager to compete and win. In December, the inaugural monthly winner, Marvin Johns, was awarded a memorable trip to Murchison Falls National Park.
Promoting Culture and Tourism
MTN Uganda continues to invest in initiatives that go beyond telecommunications, fostering an appreciation for Uganda’s diverse heritage and tourism potential. The MTN Proggie quiz is open to all MTN users, offering them an opportunity to learn, compete, and win extraordinary prizes.
Looking ahead, March promises even more rewards for participants, with eight lucky winners set to enjoy a daycation in Jinja. The month will culminate in an ultimate grand prize—a luxurious trip to Mombasa for one fortunate winner.
MTN Uganda encourages all customers to join the MTN Proggie platform, test their knowledge, and stand a chance to win life-changing experiences.
