
President Museveni is set to launch the construction of the new Busoga Kingdom Headquarters in Bugembe, Jinja.
The project is set to reinforce cultural leadership, regional development priorities, and his campaign focus on education and wealth creation.
The ceremony will be held at the current old Busoga Kingdom Headquarters in Bugembe, Jinja City, where President Museveni will meet cultural leaders and discuss development priorities for the Kingdom and the wider region.

Hajj Faruk Kirunda, Deputy Presidential Press Secretary and Special Assistant on Press and Mobilization, confirmed the President’s schedule, noting that Museveni is currently conducting rallies in districts of Luuka and Kamuli as part of his final campaign activities in Busoga.
In a previous address, President Museveni commended the Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Gabula Nadiope, for promoting unity, peace, and development in the region, saying: “I wish you many more prosperous and healthy years as you continue to steer the Kingdom towards greater heights.”
The President has also emphasized education and wealth creation in his campaign, highlighting the need for every parish to have a government primary school and every sub-county to have a secondary school.
