Museveni said Uganda must position itself as a dependable trading partner by ensuring its goods meet recognised benchmarks in processing, packaging and certification.

They encouraged businesses to use the trade forum to secure partnerships, expand networks and identify new market opportunities.

Museveni concluded that Uganda must convert its production strength into globally competitive export value  and strict adherence to international standards is central to achieving that vision.
