Uganda Baati Limited has marked nine years of leadership under its Chief Executive
Officer, George Arodi, celebrating a period defined by steady growth, operational
transformation and deeper contribution to Uganda’s industrial development.
Since assuming leadership, Arodi has overseen a strategic shift that strengthened
Uganda Baati Limited’s position in the construction and building solutions market.
The company has expanded its footprint countrywide, growing its network of
showrooms and improving access to roofing products for households, contractors
and developers across Uganda.
Under his tenure, Uganda Baati invested heavily in modern manufacturing
processes, safety systems and product innovation. These investments have not only
improved production efficiency but also enhanced quality standards, enabling the
company to respond to evolving customer needs in a rapidly growing construction
sector.
Arodi’s leadership has placed strong emphasis on people and skills development.
Uganda Baati has continued to create jobs, strengthen technical capacity among its
workforce and promote a workplace culture anchored in professionalism,
accountability and safety.
The company has also expanded its engagement beyond the factory floor. Through
corporate responsibility initiatives, Uganda Baati has supported housing related
projects, education programmes and community infrastructure, aligning its business
growth with broader social impact.
Arodi credited the company’s progress to collective effort, noting that long term
success depends on empowered teams, trusted partnerships and consistent
investment in innovation. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to sustainable
growth and to supporting Uganda’s construction industry with reliable, locally
manufactured solutions.
