Police has intervened and halted Ovinio landlords meeting as requested by Tripati Development Uganda Limited

This follows complaints from these landlords saying that they bought 280 units of the 360 under a condominium arrangement from Tripati Development Uganda unfortunately Tripati Development Ug Ltd continues to assert themselves as their landlords by collecting fees from them yet they don’t service the venue and now it’s on a point of condemnation.

The Chairman Ovinio Shopping center in Kisenyi Kawoya Francis says that this meeting had been convened to seek audience with the management of Tripati Development Uganda and give them accountability to the money they have been paying in the last 15 years, unfortunately Tripati management enforced to halt the meeting and postponed it 15th this month.

Kawooya says that the tenants and landlords are concerned that KCCA wants to condemn their trading center because it is dilapidated, and dirty but worse of all it needs rehabilitation, unfortunately Tripati management is adamant about these concerns.

The NewzZone online publication endeavored to seek Tripati Development Uganda Ltd but disregarded the opportunity to speak for them.
