DUBAI — Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has unveiled a new initiative to further strengthen Dubai’s leadership journey.
Speaking at the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum — the city’s largest leadership gathering, attracting 1,000 of Dubai’s most influential figures — Sheikh Hamdan announced the creation of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Medal.
The medal will be awarded annually to a Director within Dubai’s government departments who has demonstrated excellence in developing and empowering the second tier of leadership. The inaugural award will be presented at next year’s forum.
Sheikh Hamdan underscored that leadership is both “a privilege and a responsibility,” adding that its true value lies in preparing others to lead and carrying forward Dubai’s vision of sustained excellence.
