Sudhir Ruparelia Unveils Pearl Tower One, Kampala’s Newest Grade-A Office Landmark

Ugandan business tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia has officially opened Pearl Tower One, a striking 19-story building in central Kampala that marks the first phase of the expansive Pearl Business Park project.

Located on Yusuf Lule Road, where the former Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence once stood, the new high-rise is a major addition to the city’s commercial real estate landscape. Developed by Meera Investments Ltd., the real estate arm of the Ruparelia Group, the tower offers 16 floors of premium office space—totaling around 24,000 square meters—designed to attract top-tier tenants with modern features and energy-efficient systems.

Three additional floors are dedicated to parking, with room for over 1,000 vehicles, addressing a critical need for businesses operating in the city center.

“Pearl Tower One represents our commitment to shaping Kampala into a world-class business destination,” the Ruparelia Group said.

Once completed, the full Pearl Business Park will span 20 acres and include a luxury hotel, retail outlets, medical facilities, and leisure zones—forming a fully integrated urban complex. Concept designs reveal sleek, glass-fronted buildings set among landscaped gardens, aiming to create a self-sustaining hub for work, wellness, and lifestyle.

Office leasing for Pearl Tower One is currently open, offering businesses the chance to anchor themselves in one of Kampala’s most ambitious commercial developments to date.
