
The transport industry has merged into one under the Union alliance of transporters to add value to their services and elevate their income.
The transporters including Boda riders, taxi drivers, and trucks drivers among others have signed this unity at Hotel African in Kampala.

The Union Alliance Project Advisor Fred Ssenoga says that the Union alliance is counting on numbers saying that the more sectors they can convince to join them the more job creative they become which counts into monetary value he vows to convince other sectors to join the union alliance to boost individual incomes by eliminating the involvement of vehicle owners but encouraging group ownership

Frank Mawejje, the Chairman of United Boda Boda Riders corporative Union says that the riders don’t need money from the government but all they need is to offer them endorsements to global manufacturers for them to relate on the international market.
