Total Energies shifts some offices to Sudhir’s RR Pearl Tower One

Total Energies Uganda has officially relocated three of its entities; Total Energies Marketing Uganda Limited, Total Energies EP Uganda, and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), to RR Pearl One Building on Yusuf Lule Road ,owned by Kampala property magnate Sudhir Ruparelia.

The new workspace, branded T-Hive, is designed to enhance collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being under the company’s “One Total Energies, One Country” integration vision.

“This building brings three of our entities together under one roof. The name T-Hive was born out of staff creativity, a reminder that this space belongs to all of us,” Total Energies Uganda said in a statement.

The facility features thoughtfully designed work environments combining operational efficiency with comfort. Parking is managed by General Services, offering more than 400 basement slots across three levels, including dedicated electric vehicle charging stations.

Upon entry, a warm, secure reception lobby sets the tone, with Total Energies EP Uganda operating a dedicated security desk that manages access through chipped badges. Guides direct visitors to the main reception on the second floor.

The ground floor hosts a Bonjour convenience shop, a joint medical clinic for all three entities, and a modern mothers’ room to support employees balancing work and parenting.

The first floor houses Total Energies Marketing Uganda, while the second floor accommodates the EP Uganda reception and offices for HR, logistics, contracts and procurement, and field operations.

On the third floor, the finance, IT systems, and project management teams share space with a cafeteria and kitchen offering panoramic views of Kampala. The cafeteria includes a state-of-the-art coffee bar and a mini lounge for visitors and staff.

Upper floors are dedicated to specialised units including drilling, health and safety, environment, social performance, biodiversity, IMT, ICP, legal, corporate affairs, geoscience, business development, and EACOP offices. The entire building integrates flexible workstations, bubble rooms for privacy, and coffee lounges to encourage interaction and relaxation.

Accessibility and sustainability were central to the design, featuring wheelchair-friendly washrooms and waste segregation facilities throughout.

“Security remains a priority, but cameras are only placed in shared areas to respect privacy. Sustainability and employee well-being have guided every detail of T-Hive’s design,” Total Energies Uganda emphasized.

This consolidation marks a significant step in Total Energies Uganda’s long-term strategy to integrate its downstream marketing, upstream exploration and production, and pipeline development efforts. Industry observers see it as a vote of confidence in Kampala’s evolving commercial real estate landscape, led by developers like Ruparelia, whose RR Pearl One stands as a symbol of modern corporate infrastructure.

As Uganda advances its energy sector ambitions, including the landmark EACOP project, such initiatives underscore the company’s commitment to operational excellence and a supportive workplace culture.
