Uganda Baati Limited is preparing to take centre stage at the upcoming 31st Uganda International Trade Fair in Kampala, where it will unveil a range of new roofing and construction solutions designed to meet the country’s evolving building needs.
The fare, organised by the Uganda Manufacturers Association, is scheduled to run from 2 to 12 October 2025 at the UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo under the theme “Sustainable Industrialisation for Inclusive Growth, Employment and Wealth Creation.” It is expected to attract more than 1,500 exhibitors from across the region, making it one of the most influential platforms for industrial innovation in East Africa.
At its exhibition booth, Uganda Baati will showcase a wide variety of roofing profiles such as Lifestile, Orientile, Romantile, Versatile, Covermax, Resincot, and Dumuzas. Alongside these, the company will feature advanced building systems including SAFBUILD, ULTRASPAN, and SAFCOOL, which are engineered to deliver durability, efficiency, and modern design for homes, businesses, and large-scale projects.
According to company representatives, the exhibition will go beyond product display. Engineers and technical specialists from Uganda Baati will be on hand to provide professional guidance to homeowners, builders, and contractors, enabling them to make well-informed decisions. In addition, visitors will have the chance to take part in interactive sessions such as the “Lucky Q&A Hour,” where participants can win branded merchandise while engaging with experts.
Jackie Tahakaniza, Uganda Baati’s Head of External and Corporate Affairs, noted that the trade fair presents an opportunity to connect directly with customers and highlight the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. She explained that the aim is to empower visitors with practical knowledge that goes hand in hand with trusted building products.
The company’s participation this year reflects its broader strategy of driving innovation in the local construction sector while reinforcing its market leadership. By bringing fresh, technology-driven solutions to a growing urban population, Uganda Baati seeks to strengthen its role as a key player in shaping Uganda’s built environment.
As the countdown to the UMA Trade Fair begins, industry watchers say the showcase will underline the importance of sustainable and modern construction methods, positioning Uganda Baati as not just a supplier, but a partner in the country’s industrial transformation.
