Uganda to Benefit from State-of-the-Art Mobile Medical Clinic Donated by Aster DM Healthcare

The Ministry of Health of Uganda and Aster DM Healthcare have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the donation of a fully equipped mobile medical clinic. This initiative aims to improve access to healthcare services in underserved communities across Uganda.

Key Highlights

  • Mobile Medical Unit: The clinic will be custom-built in India and shipped to Uganda within three months.
  • Diagnostic and Treatment Capabilities: The unit will be equipped with necessary facilities to deliver primary healthcare services to remote and rural areas.
  • Collaboration: The partnership between Uganda and Aster DM Healthcare will also involve deploying medical professionals from the UAE to work alongside Ugandan healthcare workers.
  • Capacity Building: The collaboration will include specialist outreach programs, knowledge exchange, and capacity-building efforts to strengthen Uganda’s healthcare delivery systems.

Official Signing Ceremony
The MoU signing ceremony is scheduled to take place in Kampala, bringing together senior officials from Uganda’s Ministry of Health and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives from Aster DM Healthcare, and other key stakeholders.
