In a departure from past practice, the ministry will unveil the senior four results while the senior one placement is underway.
The two-day Senior One placement exercise is set to start in Lugogo today, February 12, 2026 and conclude on February 13, 2026, in the afternoon. The O-level results release will be held in the morning of February 13, 2026.A total of 432,159 candidates registered to sit for this year’s UCE exams compared to 379,748 last year—an increase of 12.1 percent. Of these, 52.7 percent were females, while 47.3 percent were males.
