
THE NEW RR PEARL TOWER ALONG YUSUF LULE ROAD IN KAMPALA, DEVELOPED BY RUPARELIA GROUP, WILL NOW HOST KEY UGANDA REVENUE AUTHORITY (URA) DEPARTMENTS.
KAMPALA.The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has started relocating several key departments from its Nakawa Headquarters to RR Pearl Tower, a newly developed high-end commercial complex in the heart of Kampala.
This strategic move, according to URA is aimed at boosting efficiency and improving taxpayer convenience.
In a public notice issued by URA, the relocation exercise, which kicked off on Monday , will be conducted in phases with full operations expected to be up and running by October 20, 2025.
The Large Taxpayers Office (LTO), along with the Public Sector and Medium Taxpayer Division (PSO & MTO), will be the first to operate from the new Pearl Tower starting October 13, 2025. These departments will occupy the 11th to 14th floors of the building.
In the second phase, the Risk and Strategy Department and the Petroleum Division will relocate between October 17 and 19, and will begin full operations from the new premises on October 20, 2025.
“To serve you better, we are coming closer to you. We look forward to supporting you,” URA Management said in the public notice , emphasizing that the move demonstrates the Authority’s continued effort to streamline taxpayer engagement and improve service delivery.
