KAMPALA.The Ruparelia Foundation has officially launched this year’s Christmas Outreach, beginning with a heartfelt charity visit to the Ghetto Research Lab in Mulago–Kamwokya.
During the visit many people including children were treated to an afternoon of care, celebration, and remembrance.
The outreach was led by Sheena Ruparelia, daughter of businessman Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, together with her husband, Jay Sakaria. The couple arrived with gift hampers, shared inspirational messages, cut cake with residents, and spent time engaging directly with families and children in the community.

The atmosphere at the lab was filled with joy, hope, and a deep sense of connection as the outreach marked the start of the Foundation’s annual Christmas charity season.

Gift hampers seen by this publication were branded with the image of the late Rajiv Ruparelia who died in a terrible motor crash in Kampala early this year . Rajiv was compassionate about helping the needy and his spirit continues to inspire the Foundation’s work as he was a guiding force behind its various philanthropic activities.
