RUBiS Energy Uganda has unveiled 15 newly built and refurbished service stations across the country, deepening its investment in Uganda’s energy and mobility sector and reaffirming its commitment to offer modern customer focused fuelling experiences.
The expansion which includes flagship outlets in Kisaasi, Nansana, Bulenga and Masaka marks a major milestone in the company’s long-term growth strategy to bring convenient high quality energy solutions closer to Ugandan motorists.
Speaking at the official launch in Kampala, William Fillet, Managing Director of RUBiS Energy Uganda, said the rollout demonstrates the firm’s confidence in Uganda’s growing economy and its determination to deliver more value to consumers.
“We are not just selling fuel,” he said. “We are investing in convenience quality and innovation building service stations that meet global standards while serving local communities.”
The new stations come equipped with UltraTec fuel, a premium formulation designed to clean engines and enhance efficiency alongside Enjoy Shop convenience stores, Castrol lubricants and RUBiS Gas cylinders for home energy. Customers can also access cashless payments and loyalty rewards through the RUBiS Card platform.
The company highlighted RUBiS Kisaasi as a model for its redesigned station concept a one stop mobility and lifestyle centre combining fuel, retail and fast service convenience.
The 15 newly launched sites span both urban and peri-urban locations including Kisaasi, Bulenga, Nansana, Kazinga, Lukaya, Maganjo, Bugiri, Masaka 2, Seeta Highway, Mbale, Wakaliga, Namugongo Sonde, Katale, Bombo Road and Nakulabye.
This expansion brings RUBiS’s total service network to more than 60 stations nationwide, making it one of Uganda’s fastest-growing fuel retailers since entering the market in 2019.
Fillet noted that RUBiS’s long-term strategy goes beyond infrastructure to include partnerships that promote energy efficiency, road safety, and sustainable business.
“We are proud to be part of Uganda’s development journey,” he added. “Every station we open means new jobs, new business opportunities, and stronger communities.”
Industry analysts say the company’s expansion signals intensified competition in Uganda’s downstream petroleum sector, where consumer expectations have shifted toward cleaner fuels, digital payments, and enhanced customer service.
By integrating fuel, retail, and technology under one roof, RUBiS Energy aims to redefine the traditional petrol station into a multi-service hub. Motorists can refuel, shop, and rest in a clean, modern environment reflecting the company’s vision of becoming Uganda’s preferred mobility partner.
