The Katikkiro of Buganda Oweki Charlse Peter Mayiga has cautioned government against keeping a deaf ear towards the messages condemning violence.
Kamalabyona Charles Peter Mayiga was giving his Xmas massage at Lubaga Cathedral in Kampala.
He says that leaders form all walks of life have cautioned government and security officisls aga torture and abuse of human rights unfortunately the concern persons seem not to listen. Yet once they continue to disregard these massages it could lead us to dark days
He has also reported to the church the major success of the kingdom for the year 2025, citing HIV Aids reduction, coffee growing and its proceeds to the nation and most importantly the completion of Kasubi tombs after 12 years.
Meanwhile government representative Hon John Chrisastom Muyingo has also warned against hate speeches and inciting violence but caution parents to regulate the use of the internet among children.
