Destiny Bridge Academy in Wakiso has emerged as one of the top-performing primary schools in the district following the release of the 2025 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results. The school’s 30 Primary Seven candidates delivered an outstanding performance, with the majority achieving excellent grades and setting strong foundations for their secondary school journeys
. Among the top achievers: Kyambadde Raymond scored an impressive 15 aggregate, Akoragye Adrian excelled with 10 aggregate, Nabukenya Anitah achieved 8 aggregate and aspires to study sciences and become a medical doctor, Lyagoba Patience also scored 8 aggregate with dreams of becoming an engineer, Ninsiima Derrick scored 16 aggregate and plans to pursue sciences.
The school’s Head, Mrs. Margret Nalubega, expressed profound gratitude, thanking God for the remarkable results as well as the teachers and parents for their unwavering support. Mrs. Nalubega praised both the educators who guided the pupils from Primary One to Primary Seven and the parents who entrusted the school with their children’s education. She also commended the school Director for creating a conducive learning environment that enabled the pupils to focus on their studies and succeed in the PLE. Mrs. Nalubega urged the excelling pupils to aim even higher as they transition to secondary school and to continue showing respect to their teachers as they pursue their future goals.
2025 PLE National Performance shows that,The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) released the 2025 PLE results nationwide, showing a rise in candidature and improvements in academic performance. A total of 817,883 candidates registered for the exams across 15,388 centres, up from 797,444 in 2024, and 730,233 candidates passed the exams. Of those who passed, 91,990 achieved Division One (First Grade), marking an increase of 7,689 first grades compared to the previous year.
