Emwanyi telimba campaign meant to promote coffee production in Buganda Kingdom to be elevated to “situla omutindo”.
This were the remarks made by the Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga during his tour in Buvuma Island to monitor the progress of coffee production in this region.
He says that having registered success in coffee production over the Kingdom its wise to encourage the Kingdom to engage in other activities in addition to coffee production. He cites value addition, education, health and child care.
He has also clustered six focal area for social economic development and encouraged Kabakas subjects to engage in atheist two of these clustered sectors.
