2nd deputy mufti rolls out Iftar programme as Ramadhan enters 8th day

KAMPALA.

His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Hafiz Muhammad Harunah Bukenya, the 2nd Deputy Mufti, has rolled out an Iftar programme under the Aayyi Bin Ka’b Charity Foundation in several mosques across different parts of the country.

The organisation provides meals to Muslim faithful at sunset during the breaking of the fast. This initiative has been sustained throughout the Holy Month of Ramadhan over the years. This time, the programme has been extended to the West Nile region, covering several mosques, including Al-Taqwa in Yumbe District, Al-Ihsan, Al- Nur and Al-Muktar Mosques in Arua City.

Other beneficiary mosques include the Main Mosque in Soroti City, five mosques in Kayunga District, and additional mosques in Wakiso District. Muslims ,the world over , are today, Wednesday entering the 8th day of fasting since the fasting period commenced on February 18.
