As Uganda prepares to drill oil possibly next year, Buganda Kingdom wants government to use oil proceeds to facilitate social economic developmental issues for social economic development.
The appeal has been made by the Second Deputy Katikkiro and finance minister Oweki Robert Wagwansibirwa while addressing the Tanzania People’s Defence Force National Defence College of Tanzania delegation at lukiiko hall Bulange in Kampala.
He says that Buganda Kingdom welcomes the invension of oil and the infrastructural development delivered to the oil region but Government needs to recognize the facilitation social economic activities for social development.

The National Defence College of Tanzania head of delegation Comander Bakankwerere Trace Rutambujja raised concern on the paralelral corporation between the Kingdom and the Central government among other issues of concern.
