The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) has marked the end of its five-year political administration under the leadership of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, with supporters praising the President for steering the country through a period of peace, stability, and development.
In a message shared at the close of the term, congratulations were extended to President Museveni, also known as “Mzee Wa Kazi,” for successfully completing the administration’s tenure and leading the party to victory in the previous general elections.
The message commended the President for what was described as wise leadership and the use of “correct policy instruments” that have contributed to Uganda’s continued progress, peace, and national stability.
Supporters also expressed gratitude to God for granting President Museveni the wisdom and strength to guide the country throughout the term.
Prayers were further offered for divine favor and guidance as the President begins another term in office, with optimism expressed about continued development and transformation under the NRM leadership.
President Museveni has led Uganda for decades under the NRM government, with his administration often emphasizing economic growth, security, infrastructure development, and regional stability as key achievements.
