Businessman Shakib Cham Lutaaya has dismissed reports suggesting that his marriage to socialite and entrepreneur Zari Hassan has ended, saying the couple never separated despite recent speculation.
Speaking during an interview on Sanyuka TV, Shakib explained that the rumours were sparked by a misunderstanding between the two and insisted that their relationship remained intact throughout.
He said disagreements are a normal part of any marriage and should not be mistaken for a breakup.
According to Shakib, comments Zari made publicly about their relationship came at a time when emotions were running high following a minor disagreement. He maintained that the issue was resolved quickly through communication.
Shakib also revealed that they were still in contact on the same day Zari shared a social media post that led many people to believe the couple had parted ways, adding that they settled their differences shortly afterward.
His remarks come just days after Zari publicly showed her support by attending his boxing match in Kenya. Shakib defeated Kenyan musician and boxer Arrow Bwoy by knockout, with Zari among those cheering him on during the event.
The appearance together has further fueled speculation that the couple has moved past the misunderstanding and remains committed to their marriage.
