Traders in Buswabulongo cell , Mityana Municipality are counting losses after fire gutted their businesses .
According to the residents, fire started at 11pm on Monday in one of the carpentry workshops and later spread to other businesses .
Residents tried to put out the fire using rudimentary methods , but failed . Police was also alerted but to their dismay they arrived on time but without any means of stopping the fire since the regional fire brigade truck which is supposed to help the districts of Mityana ,Mubende ,Kiboga and Kyankwanzi is currently grounded .
Police in the area is yet to issue a statement about the incident .
