The Coca-Cola Company has expanded its Ugandan line-up with the introduction of Fanta Pineapple, offering consumers a tropical twist on one of the country’s favourite soft drink brands.
The new flavour was unveiled at a lively activation in Nakawa Market, where shoppers were treated to colourful displays, music, and free tastings. Crowds gathered to try the drink, described as crisp, fruity, and refreshingly different, yet retaining the sweetness that Fanta is known for.
Marketing executives said the launch reflects Fanta’s commitment to innovation and its aim to stay relevant to Uganda’s increasingly adventurous consumer base. Importantly, the drink will be sold at the same price as existing Fanta flavours, making it an accessible option for all customers.
The rollout of Fanta Pineapple is expected to begin immediately across supermarkets, kiosks, and retail outlets in Kampala, before expanding to other towns and regions in the coming months. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda indicated that promotions would continue throughout October to give more consumers a first taste.
For Fanta lovers, the addition of Pineapple signals not just more variety but also a brand that is listening to evolving tastes and willing to bring a little more sunshine into every bottle
