The Catholic Church is worried that the act of our security personnel absolutely coincides with the intentions of Christmas which calls for peace, reconciliation and forgiveness.
These were the statements made by the Chairman of the Episicaple conference also the Bishop of Mityana Bishop Anthony Zziwa during a press conference held at the Catholic Secretatiat Nsambya in Kampala.
He says that alot of violence has been witnessed masterminded by our security officers towards civilians in campaigns but warned that these continued acts are creating hatred towards the security.
He has called upon the electoral commission to exhibit its powers to assume contral of the elections instead of fueling violence being exarted by certain individuals participating in the elections.
Bishop Ziwa had in a similar manner urged the electorate to fully participate in the forthcoming elections and avoid being corrupted.
