RPP Donates Scholastic Materials to Children of Political Prisoners Ahead of Ramadan and School Reopening

The Revolutionary People’s Party (RPP) has donated scholastic materials to children of political prisoners as the country begins the holy month of Ramadan and prepares for the new school term.

The donation was made at the RPP party headquarters in Namirembe, Kampala District, where former presidential aspirant Frank Kabinga Bulira said the gesture reflects the party’s commitment to supporting vulnerable families beyond the campaign period.

Kabinga emphasized that acts of compassion and solidarity should not be limited to election seasons but should continue consistently to uplift communities in need.

He further pledged to pay school fees for the children of the late Yasin Kawuma and other victims, including children affected by machete-related violence, through his initiative, Frank Cares Company. He noted that the party also has a dedicated program to support Muslim faithful during the holy month of Ramadan.

Kabinga used the occasion to call upon President Yoweri Museveni to promote peace and national unity by releasing all political prisoners unconditionally, urging him to act in what he described as a parental role for the country.

The event concluded with prayers and messages of solidarity for affected families as schools reopen and Muslims observe Ramadan.
