Rt. Hon. Anita Among paid a courtesy call to His Royal Highness Kassim Nakibinge Kakungulu, the Titular Head of the Muslim Community in Uganda, in a meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between religious leadership and policymakers.

During the meeting, the Speaker Among briefed His Royal Highness on key legislation and policies considered by Parliament of Uganda aimed at supporting the welfare and development of the Muslim community across the country. The discussion emphasized ongoing efforts to promote inclusive governance and equitable national development.
Among also conveyed sincere appreciation for the continuous guidance and moral support that His Royal Highness extends to legislators in the execution of their duties, noting the importance of his leadership in fostering unity, peace, and responsible governance.

In his remarks, Dr. Kassim Nakibinge Kakungulu graciously reaffirmed his commitment to continue guiding leaders on matters of national importance, emphasizing the need for cooperation between religious institutions and public leadership to advance national stability and progress.
The meeting highlighted the importance of constructive dialogue between policymakers and cultural–religious leaders in strengthening social cohesion and supporting community-centered policy initiatives.
