Ugandan farmers aspiring for commercial farming have been advised to adapt to stractural and ethical business management to earn out of agribusiness.
The appeal has been made by the Presidential advisor on Agriculture and value addition Hillary Musoke and the Cheif Executive Officer Crossgates connect Doris Beth Atigo while addressing agicommercial farmers during a half day IT AI agricultural induction program held at Nican Resort Lweza in Kampala.
She says that if Ugandan commercial farmers are to benifit in this trade its required for them to change charactor and practice stracturalisation of there trade to enable banks to relate with them, she adds that Crossgates connect has developed an application dubbed STIV AI which will connect farmers to the diaspora as a tool for there products.
The NewzZone online Plartform managed to engage with som of the participants of this orientation program and learnt that this application has been long awaited to outline middlemen between agro based markets and farmers.
