“We need a Financial system that will make it easier for us to find Finance to start businesses,
We need an infrastructure that will support our small businesses,
We needa legal framework to protect us from foreign competition.” Remarked Magezi during his press conference at MUBS on Wednesday.
Magezi also noted that he may not the best and he doesn’t claim to be, but remains the one Ugandans have to compete with vision and Ideology.
“For young people Our time is now. We need A good education system that will give us jobs, you should stop Expecting your jobs abroad. We need Universities and Institutions that will give us Relevant skills to Compete
Globally.”
He noted that although President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s government has done a lot in improving people’s well being, a lot is still desired to enable atleast Majority of the Ugandans to be in position to start up businesses which will create employment opportunities.
“The disaster is primarily in the high population of growth, corruption, failure of entrepreneurial class to compete internationally, ignorance and poor mindset or attitude and
poor education system.”
