Akaju Fc Unveils “The Tower”: More Than a Jersey, A Legacy in Every Stitch

Chaapa League Champions 3rd Edition of the Bulls’ Tournament (Season 10), Akajju FC has officially pulled back the curtain on their newest kit, “The Tower,” and it is far more than just a fresh set of threads for the pitch. For the reigning Bulls’ Tournament Champions, this jersey is a wearable history book, woven with the grit, culture, and unbreakable brotherhood of the Mbarara High School Class of 2014–2019.

A Symbol of Unity and Architecture

The name “The Tower” isn’t just a catchy title—it’s a tribute to a landmark achievement. In 2019, as the pioneers of this team prepared to leave the gates of Mbarara High, they left behind a permanent mark: the Clock Tower. Built through the collective efforts of the students themselves, that tower stands as a symbol of their contribution to their alma mater.

Today, that same spirit of construction and community is embodied in the jersey. The intricate patterns and pictorials on the shirt—including depictions of dancers, where Akaju FC gets its name.

Designed for Champions

”Notugira Ota” – The Spirit of Akajju
At the heart of the unveiling is the team’s rallying cry: Notugira Ota. It is a slogan that speaks to resilience and the shared identity of “Old Boys” who entered the gates as boys and emerged as a brotherhood, a bond that refuses to be broken.
When the players step onto the field in “The Tower,” they aren’t just wearing polyester and ink. They are wearing the memories of the classrooms and the pride of brotherhood.
