Be creative with original creations avoid being copycats of foreign doctrines.Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga

Creative artists have been urged to add value to their deeds, character and production and avoid amateurism if they are to compete at an international scene.

The appeal has been made by the Katikkiro of Buganda Kamalabyona Charles Peter Mayiga while addressing members of the Uganda Cinematographers Association who paid curtsey visit to him at his offices in Bulange Mengo Kampala. The cinematographers met the Katikkito to front their proposal to get permission to document Buganda Kingdom in a bid to restore our norms.

He says that Buganda Kingdom is pursuing the need ot add value to whatever we do in order to compete with the international community he called upon these creative videographers to desist from amateurism and add value to their individual deeds and character for prominence.


Ssempebwa Nyanja the President of Uganda Cinematographers Association has presented a four points proposal to document Buganda Kindgom history and visualise our ancient tells for our children to adapt to our culture and tradition adding that this will save our children from consuming pone inform of the modern cartoons.
