
Vice President Jessica Alupo is in Saudi Arabia to represent President Museveni at the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9) conference .
The ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9) conference in Riyadh brings together global leaders to discuss sustainable prosperity and investment opportunities.
VP Alupo,who arrived on Sunday morning, was received at the Royal Terminal of King Khalid International Airport by the Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, alongside several Saudi and Ugandan officials, including Uganda’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Isaac Sebulime.
The conference which kicks off today October 27 will run up to October 30 under the theme “Investing in Humanity – Unlocking New Pathways to Shared Prosperity.”

The conference, hosted at the King Abdul Aziz International Conference Centre, is one of the world’s leading gatherings for global investors, policymakers, and innovators.
It seeks to explore new strategies for inclusive growth, sustainable investment, and human-centered development.
This year’s FII9 edition will feature multiple sessions, including exclusive invitation-only conclaves on October 27 that bring together top investors, CEOs, and policymakers for confidential, solutions-oriented dialogue.
On October 28 and 29, global leaders in government, business, and technology will engage in debates on the future of investment and policy, focusing on how innovation can shape equitable economic transformation.
The final day, October 30, will be dedicated to “Investment Day,” a platform for major deal-making, networking, and showcasing of next-generation technology and high-growth ventures.
The Future Investment Initiative was launched by the FII Institute to foster collaboration between governments and the private sector in driving global prosperity and sustainable development.
