The Uganda Muslim Supreme Council has launched its first-ever farmers center dubbed Halaal farmers center to provide agri expertize and cheap geniune agriproducts.
The center has been commissioned at Ghadafi Mosque Uganda Muslim Supreme Council headquaters in Kampala.
Speaking to the stakeholders was UMSC Deputy Mufti Sheik Mohamad Ali Waiswa he has this initiative will be visible in over 80 districts of UMSC. This initiative has been innovated to curb fake agri products on the market in Uganda
UMSC Secretary General Alhajji Hassan Muluubya says that thisbinitiative is part of the UMSC initiative dubbed “tuli kukipya” he says that this farmers center products will be halaali based as patriotic move to quality products. He adds that this initiative is intended to promote the social economic life style of the communities.
