Kitende Secondary School head teacher ,Mr Stephen Lwasa

KAMPALA.A section of parents at Kitende Secondary School are up in arms accusing the head teacher ,Mr Stephen Lwasa of running down the public school.
The parents claim Mr Lwasa ‘s weird leadership style has put the school’s name in disrepute .
“His leadership skills are lacking , when there is a staff he doesn’t like ,instead of creating a good working relationship, he fights that person until the end –which is failing the general school management ,”Mr Moses Ssebulime , one of the parents,said during a meeting on Thursday
Ms Jennifer Nalugo ,another parent claims ever since Mr Lwasa took over management ,the school has lost colossal sum of money in dubious deals under his watch .She cites a project to pave the school compound he found underway ,but building materials were stolen which led to its completion to delay .
“He also mismanaged construction works for a school building complex where government injected billions of money , because of his complicity nature ,one teacher was caught stealing iron bars and this matter was reported to him[Mr Lwasa],but no action was taken against the thieving teacher ,” he said
Sarah Namuddu , a neighbour to the school and parent asked the Ministry of Education to swiftly intervene and investigate Mr Lwasa .
“It is the ministry to investigate this ,if they cannot ,let Mr Balaam Barugahara[Local Government Minister] who has gained fame for fighting corruption come ,” she said
Mr Lwasa , when contacted his telephone number was off .
Kitende Senior Secondary School, founded by Church of Uganda , is a government-aided school in Wakiso District, Bweya, with over 1000 students
