The Federation of Uganda Traders Association John Kabanda wants the government to compensate all traders affected during the implementation of the Trade order program

Traders countrywide want government through the local government to halt its trade order campaign because it’s ill intended and frastrating economic development.

These appeals have been made by the leaders of the traders under the umbrallar of the Federation of Uganda Traders Asdociation during there meeting at Mascado Motel in Ndeeba Lubaga division.

According to FUTA president John Kabanda, the federation thought that the trade order was to affect Kampala alone unfortunately its affecting the entire business community, citing demolition of there kiosics, confiscation of there mechanized, arrest of traders and demolition of buildings.

He wants government to recosider the reveiw of the trade order but compensating all affected traders and relocate victims.

Earlier on before the meeting started all affected traders stormed the meeting this king that it’s intended to divert traders from demanding for there rights saying g that they were meat to sign then disown them which was not right.

FUTA President John Kabanda has warned traders over this approach saying that these are some of the impostors being planted amongst traders but warned them against such selfish acts.

The NewzZoneOnline platform talked to various chairperson from different regions and expressed their grief and how the local government has affected traders they are proposing to President Museveni to appoint traders in leadership offices.

The same traders are battling with over taxation, flooding g Nakivubo drainage challenge. URA Infrice, St Balikudembe demolition among other challenges.
